How are you all getting on with Origins? I need to wait for the HC, but hope it's living up to expectations?

“We have a saying, my people. Don’t kill if you can wound, don’t wound if you can subdue, don’t subdue if you can pacify, and don’t raise your hand at all until you’ve first extended it.”
I have the issues but I havent had the chance to read them yet. Hopefully in the next week or so I'll finally get to them.

Oh wow, that's amazing! I really want a poster from one of the older Bond films, but I doubt I'll ever have that kind of spare cashing laying around.
Shane Rimmer passed away. While he was probably best known for his voice acting in Thunderbirds, he also appeared in minor roles in multiple Bond films: You Only Live Twice, Diamonds are Forever, and Spy Who Loved Me.

This is interesting. I haven't seen Fleabag (it's on my list), but I love Killing Eve and I'm excited about the potential of her input.

I havent seen anything Waller-Bridge has been in or produced, but I've heard really positive things about Killing Eve so I'm not against her inclusion. I am slightly concerned they are still trying to "polish up" the script since they have already begun filming. I hope the humor Craig wants her to include is closer to the humor in Casino Royale rather than humor like in a Moore or Brosnan film.

Haha yeah, I would agree. The fact the movie is less than a year away and we still dont know a title or much about who has been cast in this is giving me flashbacks to Spectre's production. That said I love Craig's version of Bond, so I'm really holding out hope that this will be a fantastic sendoff for him.

Finally got some details regarding Bond 25. Malek is confirmed as the main villain. I'm not very familiar with most of the new cast besides Malek. I'm excited that Felix is back in this. I like that he is the one to pull Bond out of retirement. Also enjoy that Bond has been chilling in Jamaica after the events of Spectre.
Exciting stuff I don't think that I've seen Malek in anything before...

I primarily know him from his role in Mr. Robot. I havent seen it yet, but I've also heard he is fantastic as Freddie Mercury in the recent Bohemian Rhapsody film. I do feel like this is slightly bad timing to be making these announcements about Bond since I feel like most media is going to be dominated by Avengers: Endgame being released this weekend.
I finally got time to read Origins. I've read the first 6 issues so far. I thought the first two issues were pretty generic and didnt have much that really drew me into the series. Issue #3 started to get me more invested in the series and I have been enjoying the issues since then. Issue #6 is a standalone story and is probably my favorite of the series so far. Overall I've enjoyed the 007 series more (though that's probably partially due to my love for Oddjob) but I am looking forward to reading the next arcs for Origins. Dynamite has been on a roll recently with their Bond comics.
Origins HC is available for pre-order, as is the next novel adaptation, Live and Let Die Also, regarding Bond 25, as somebody who regularly listens to Bond music I am mostly excited for the soundtracks. I don't know that that's a good thing...
