Ellis/Masters is the bar for all JB comics now. Lobosco did Black Box, and it was just too cartoonish and doesn't sit right with me. I think he also did a one shot or something. Artist for Felix was Aaron Campbell, and I also remember really liking it as Felix remains among my top couple of entries

Also, I didn't realise that there are JB Funko pops, they look good! Could do with more Bonds though...

Apart from the expensive sideshow figures and some dolls there hasn't really been a really dedicated, long-running James Bond figure line.

Here's some info on what is available: https://www.action-figure-resource.c...e-premier.html

Although the humans aren't given much love, there's TONS of car toys though released by various companies, with Corgi probably being the most notable.

Naturally, the Aston Martin DB5 is the most merchandised.

I mean, it's mostly the cars that I would collect. They what I immediately think of :P

Just finished rereading Felix Leiter. I don't remember him coming across as quite so pathetic the first time I read it, but damn... Still, I once again thought that the fight scenes were great; the moon kill and particularly when they start their raid and go upper and lower, fantastic.

Yeah, I remember them really driving home the point of how pathetic he was during the first half of the mini. I feel like he got less pathetic as the mini went on but I could be miss remembering as I havent read it since it was released. And probably my favorite part of that mini was the upper/lower raid scene. It's a shame we never got another Felix mini. I feel like at this point, it's highly unlikely we are getting another anytime soon.

On one hand I'm disappointed, but on the other hand I'm excited because of the reasons why we aren't getting it, which is that we are getting other cool stuff :P

Some Bond 25 insight, albeit minor...

Yeah, nothing much really shown in the video but it was neat to see some behind the scenes stuff going on during filming. It does make me wonder when we may be getting a teaser and official title for Bond 25 considering it's less than a year away.

I believe the first official picture released for Bond 25. A fairly standard picture from a Bond film, but it's nice to see that marketing seems to be ramping up for Bond 25 (it's a bit shocking to me that we still dont have a title for this film at this point....)

Any bets on it just being called 'Bond 25', because they forgot?

Haha considering all the rumors about drama, occurring on set, part of me wouldn't be surprised if this actually happened....are there any titles for the Fleming novels and short stories they havent used for a movie title yet? The only one I can think of is 007 in New York which is probably an unlikely title for this...

Craig pretty much owns the Grey suit and sunglasses Bond look now. It's more or less been the character's default look since Skyfall I think, although the sunglasses were certainly present in his earlier films. Granted, some of the other Bonds wore sunglasses, but I'm pretty sure Craig is the only one to do it consistently.

Regarding Fleming, they still haven't used Risico, the Hildebrand rarity or Property of a Lady either, although all three have been incorporated plot-wise into the films. Risico is pretty much the Kristatos/Columbo stuff from For Your Eyes Only, Hildebrand has a bit to do with the License to Kill Henchman Milton Krest (and I think the name Hildebrand was used in SPECTRE), and Property was pretty much adapted into the Octopussy auction scene.

Not that they can't reuse Bond plots; The whole Oberhauser plot line in SPECTRE minus the Blofeld angle is pretty much the Octopussy backstory that was briefly alluded to in the Octopussy film. (Oberhauser was the man that Smythe killed).

A popular fan title of course for Bond 25 is Shatterhand. Shatterhand was the final alias of Blofeld in the novel version of You Only Live Twice, and it sounds as Bondish as possible as a title (Well, without having some reference to Gold or death). Plus it would fit well with the last two films, which also started with S.

Another thing that happened with the film is that Grace Jones was reportedly going to film a cameo, but walked off in a huff when she learned she had no lines.

Bond girl encores aren't exactly a new thing: Maud Adams is of course the biggest example, and Tsau Chin, the woman (Ling) who appeared briefly at the beginning of You Only Live Twice, was one of the poker players in Casino Royale (She not only appears at the casino but on Le Chiffre's yacht). I suppose you can sort of count Ursula Andress in the Casino Royale comedy.

I do like Shatterhand as a title for the next film. That said, it may be a bit of a strange title considering all signs seem to indicate that Blofeld isnt in this film. I would have preferred they used Shatterhand for Craig's fourth film instead of Spectre.

And I hadn't heard that Grace Jones was going to have a cameo in this. I wonder what her role would have been. They seem to be trying to pull several elements from the 80s Bond films with the addition of the car Dolton used and trying to include Jones in the film. I also never realized that was Tsau Chin in You Only Live Twice.

Waltz is confirmed to be in Bond 25 as Blofeld. I'm a bit conflicted about this. I really like Waltz but I didnt like what they did with him as Blofeld at all. Im curious how much he will actually be in the movie. I kind of hope he isnt the one behind everything as it would just give me bad flashbacks to Spectre...
