    I knew him mainly from The Man From Uncle and The Protectors (loved that theme song.)

    He was also the last surviving member of the Magnificent Seven.

    Loved him in Hustle and in sort of reprising his gunfighter, in Battle Beyond the Stars.

    Most excellent in Bridge at Remagen, an underrated film.

    Always a great actor, even when shilling for ambulance-chasers.
