I prefer Rita in the role. But she's now considered dead by Marvel editorial even though they showed she was alive at the end of Chaos War. But I think they made Cross Yellowjackets recently for movie synergy.

He's still in the Soul Stone. And the rules in there aren't the same as they are in real life. Besides, I don't think Duggan would just off him like that. Not when he created a path to bring him back.

Agreed. I would hate this outcome. I really dislike synergy...

What I would have been comfortable with synergy-wise would have been a team-up between Jan, Nadia and Scott to go free Hank from wherever he was stuck (as a parallel to the movie where Jan had to be rescued).

Having now read the issue, I can't believe that this is all there is. I mean, it's a founding Avenger, for pete's sake...! As you said, I don't see the logic of what Duggan has been doing so far if this is it. It just doesn't add up.

I haven't read it, but I remember back during Uncanny Avengers Duggan said he was a fan of the character. I think that's true. I don't think that he was forced to build so much of this around Pymtron. I think he chose to do it, and as such, I think ultimately he does have a plan to bring Hank back minus Ultron in some way, shape, or form.
