Has anyone read this? I got the single issues when they came out. They were pretty good....

I was thinking about trying it when it was originally published, but since it didn't have the crew behind Gotham Academy doing the writing and/or artwork (beyond covers), I decided to pass.

They should really bring it back as a DC Zoom series. It would make a lot of sense .

Hell, they should even make it a TV series for The CW!

So, what kind of series is Gotham Academy? Like, mystery adventure, fun adventure, suspense, etc?

    Yes?

It's sort of hard to pin-down. There are kids as lead characters, and the faculty includes many nods to both comic book and TV-related Bat-characters. There's adventure, and there's a few mysteries, and there are some soap opera-like elements, and there's just plain fun. While it's not just another GrimDark Bat-book, it does have some serious moments at times, too.

It's just an overall, satisfying series. (And one I definitely miss.)

If they can ever get Zoom off the ground, I think they are likely to do so. I know Fletcher definitely wants to.

The premise is Hogwarts Gotham. So yeah, fun mystery adventure mainly.

"Hogwarts Gotham" makes it sound too much like "magic users in training", which it's not.
