Gotham Academy would be perfect as an animated series!! I dont think I have loved a series as much as I have GA in a long time.

I would also love to see Maps become a regular in Batgirls.

Oh, man, a Gotham Academy animated series, with the Batfamily as background but great cameos (instead of trying to have a dead or missing Batman all the time), would be truly fantastic. I worry they'd turn it more into a Gotham High type book, but if they could capture the cheerful but spooky, innocent but wise, loyalty and nuanced characters that the book does, it would be a cut above so many other cartoons!

On second thought, it may just be the first series plus bonus materials. I forgot the first series was 18 issues. So, that’s 360 pages at 20 pages per issue or 396 if it was 22 per issue.

And the original series also had the Gotham Academy: Endgame one-shot as well as an Annual just before they started Gotham Academy: Second Semester.

I really hope that the short story in Saved by the Belle Reve indicates that we might be getting either a new run or an OGN (OGN being preferable)!
