I really hope that the short story in Saved by the Belle Reve indicates that we might be getting either a new run or an OGN (OGN being preferable)!

It definitely feels like DC's trying to make sure people remember it/it's not forgotten. Maps had the 3-part back-up in Batman, a new Gotham Academy story in the Saved by the Belle Reve collection, Maps and Kyle in Batgirls, the new collection...

I'd be down to see some new Gotham Academy material.

What did people think about the Gotham Academy short in Saved by the Belle Reve summer special this week? I thought it was lovely, if a bit sad. I really hope it means we're getting an OGN soon!

It's an assumption on my part since I believe the last two times he's done non-creator owned work it's been a Gotham Academy related story, first in the recent Black and White series and then in the backups during the Williamson run.

Cool, he mentions issue #9 in the tweet though that's in the January 2024 solicits and doesn't mention anything by Karl Kerschl, so maybe it'll start in February with issue #10.
