The Kinks from around 79-80. What's interesting is that during the audience sing along where Ray says, "This is the disco version" and it's just the drum beat, my local AOR station bleed out that statement. Supposedly cuz they this was during the "Disco Sux" era and they were the station that hired Steve Dahl the man behind "Disco Demolition."

    No.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Neil Peart is no longer in the world. That's just.......oh my God, there are no words really.

So Rush actually are mortal after all. Fuck.

RIP to the greatest rock drummer of all time. Utterly gutted.

While you can guess that guys like Peter Laughner or Johnny Thunders would probably never get the chance, I really thought the guys from Rush might just get to ride off into the sunset.

It's a real shame that the guy didn't get a better break.

Apparently, this is less significantly 'rock and roll' than Whitney Houston:

No class? That's rather an apt choice for a song title here. Rock And Hall Hall Of Fame? No class whatsoever. It obviously understands rock and roll slightly less than this thread does. Honestly, I'm laughing right now as I'm typing.

When Snotty Music Critics Opinions Count For Jack S--t. Part 4676:

This enormous crowd at River Plate stadium in Buenos Aires seem to quite like AC/DC. Not recommended for readers of the NME.

The announcer is wearing some super short shorts. For all you kids, this was very normal for straight guys back in the 70's.

    Deep Purple

Of course, all the Mad Max/Road Warrior imagery has nothing to do with the lyrics, but it was super common in videos across board during the mid-80's.
