Started Tales of Arise.

Combat seems a lot simpler than previous installments so far.

Still playing.

But a line of written dialogue had "loose" when it should have been "lose".

The internet has officially destroyed people's ability to write.

Has anyone played the DLC? Is it worth it? ($30 is a lot for DLC)

I've beaten both Super Mario RPG and Star Ocean: The Second Story R. I've gone back to the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. Currently making my way through V. And then on to VI. (And then something else because those are the last ones.)

Finished the FF Pixel Remasters. Now playing FF VII Remake (again) before FF VII Rebirth.

Going to play Echoes of The Fallen (Final Fantasy XVI DLC) before facing Ultima in the main game. Supposed to be pretty difficult.

I'm at level 51, Although I made the mistake of selling the Ragnarok sword, forgetting it was one of the 'ingredients' to craft the Gotterdammerung. Oops. Although there's supposed to be a powerful sword in the DLC...provided not having Gotterdammerung isn't an issue...

Isn't Gotterdammerung just the German word for Ragnarock?

Disk 3- the esthar space station- cool idea but not that fun to actually play.

GoW Ragnarok's Valhalla DLC is fun to play. It's a set of challenge rooms that serve as an epilogue to the main gane.

Yep. Game says Ragnarök means "War of the Gods" but that Götterdämmerung means "Twilight of the Gods" in the sword descriptions (Not sure if that's accurate). You also need to get the other items by doing the monster hunts mostly, and have to be a bit careful with those too (as they can be crafted into alternate items)


The game's shops unfortunately do not have a disassemble or buyback function (at least currently). I think the crafting system is probably one of the weakest features of the game, and most of the 'loot' is pretty useless.


However, beating the DLC does get you the Omega sword which is more powerful, and also I had maxed out Aerial Blast, Flames of Rebirth and Gigaflare abilities and was at level 51 so Ultima wasn't that bad even without Torgal handing to help heal.

Playing tomb raider the def edition. Fun game Trying to get my friends off the island in a shootout.

Playing AC Mirage. Kind of understand it's an attempt to more of a back-to-basics AC game but it doesn't feel that different from Valhalla so far gameplay-wise.

Got Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Christmas so I've been playing that. Currently on the final world (not including the secret world). Debating if I should 100% it first before facing Bowser or if I should beat it then go back and complete it.
