Injustice 2. Was hoping for new elseworld story, but im guessing they just really love the evil superman angle. Beside the werid choices for some of the charaters faces(Ollie looks like ewan McGregor and Cyborg looks like Gunn from Angel) the game plays nice and im enjoying the storymode thus far. Still mad they didnt bring back Deathstroke. Maybe DLC,

Finished all I am willing to do in Hollow Knight. Basically got everything except the Speed Run trophies, the "someone dies" trophies, and the "Don't die once" trophies. I did get all the endings, did White Palace (super platforming difficulty area, also known as "Where did all the buzzsaws come from?!?"), the Trial of Fools (major combat test that rewards you NOTHING useful), and completed the Hunter's Journal.

For people who want to know about it, imagine if Metroid and Dark Souls had a kid, and the kid was a bug. And, like, half the badguys either Metroid or Dark Souls would put anywhere. Very atmospheric, somewhat lonely, nice combat, and fun hidden lore and treats. I always felt that if I died, it was my fault, and not the game being unfair.

Need to finish my latest run of Odin Sphere....

    Sincerely,

    Melchior, the Geddon Knight

You can block low and mid on both sides by just holding down in Injustass lol. Only NRS games.

late last night I was playing Final Fantasy XIII and saved right before the first Odin encounter in Chapter 4.

So do I have to keep using Protect and Shell during the whole thing to get Odin to raise my blue meter thing and then to press square to capture him or whatever?

    Overwatch

A friend finally convinced me to pick it up, and i've enjoyed it so far. I think so far my favorite characters to play as are Zarya, Mei, and Lucio. Least favorite is McCree, I just can't figure what he's supposed to be good for.

I ended up not doing a second playthrough of Persona 5 immediately after finishing it the first time. And I went back and finished Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright.

Currently I am making my way through Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. A remake of a previously never released outside of Japan Fire Emblem title.

I just finished Disgaea 4, well I finished the story mode of Disgaea 4. I've never actually "finished" a Disgaea game. Maybe I'll play some of the post game this time.

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. Loving every second of it, and the game is freaking beautiful. Plus, as someone who read the books, the return of one of my favourite characters has made me love the game even more. The only downside is that when I finish this game I’m probably going to have to wait another 5+ years (if at all) for another Witcher game. I kind of don’t want it to end

I tried Dead By Daylight, the community is so toxic that i left.

I tried Friday the 13th, the game is such an empty shell, so boring that i left. (and the community is starting to get quite toxic too so...)

    Waiting for Spider-man on ps4.

Got through Yakuza 0 a few weeks back. That was pretty great. Been following the series since 4, and since I'm the guy who can find something nice to say about Dead Souls it's probably not a shock that I loved this too. Mostly it stays true to what the series has always done, leaving you in a small but busy world full of angry men and softcore porn (I'm not joking, collecting skinflick 'previews' is a side quest now), letting you unravel a long-winded criminal conspiracy at your own pace. There's a wealth of side quests and bonus activities, although even with the '80s flashback setting many of those are overly familiar by now. Both player characters have their own extra businesses to farm cash out of if you've got the patience for it. And yes, both characters. After experimenting with 4-character tales before, 0 downgrades to 2, but to make up for that, each protagonist - recurring hero Kiryu and longtime rival/nutter BFF Majima - has had their combat arts expanded. Now each can switch between 3 different styles on the fly, complimenting their normal routine with fast-mover and hard-hitter alternates. Kiryu's are something of a mixed bag; his 'Rush' moves are okay at pressuring individual opponents but are hopeless with groups and lack variety, though his 'Beast' style makes up for that in both crowd control and general awesomeness. Majima by comparison wins in both categories, with 'Breaker' letting him headspin to victory like he's Eddy Gordo and 'Slugger' giving him an unbreakable baseball bat, rendering the game's pick-up weapons moot. Levelling up is different now too, with money used instead of EXP to learn new stuff; this also results in money being earned from every fight, literally flying out of opponents as they drop, which is a great visual if nothing else. The storyline is a broadly simple hot-potato hostage exchange dragged out through a multitude of antagonistic parties that works wonders chiefly through well-drawn characters, though I don't find it quite as sweet as 4, perhaps because the protagonists' journeys don't wind up dovetailing together in the same place. It's the little things. Still, absolutely a winner, and a good intro to the series if you've never dipped in before.

Also completed...well, I rage-quitted on the last level of Zombie Army Trilogy after an hour's worth of dying at the same checkpoint. That's always galling, doubly so when it stops you from beating FINAL BOSS ZOMBIE HITLER, but I'm not prepared to go breaking controllers over it. Hhhhh. Up to that point, the game's decent, not exceptional. Third-person shooting in lots of bombed-out towns, undead enemies with an upsetting tendency to not stay down until their head pops, occasional 'super' enemies that only register headshots, also headshots, headshots, and more headshots. This game has a problem with skulls and wants you to know it. At the very least this does play into ZAT's best party trick, the slow-mo kill cam taken from the Sniper Elite series; a particularly impressive shot (long range, high accuracy, multiple targets hit etc.) gives you a dynamic camera angle and a lovely time delay snapshot of the bullet entering and exiting the relevant undead, often complete with x-ray effect to show organs and bones splintering on impact. Mmmm. Beyond that there's a pretty rote story told almost entirely in pre-mission briefings, a good selection of period-accurate rifles (and period-accurate SMGs, none of which can hit anything more than 5 meters away), and, well, Zombie Hitler at the end, which IS appreciated. The 'trilogy' part doesn't factor into much, though the 3rd part of the...series?...does shake things up with better inclusion of friendly NPCs, hidden secrets and the like. Decent mindless fun for a budget price.
The X-Books Board is wretched and does not deserve the Domino Appreciation Thread.
