    Things To Be Thankful For

Tomorrow, we'll be spending time with our families, giving thanks for our various blessings and looking forward to the holidays.

I've got many things to be thankful for, but one of the most gratifying was seeing the return of Ted Kord to the DC Universe in the new Blue Beetle series.

What comic-related things are you thankful for?

Looks like the damage Azzarello did to Wonder Woman is gone for good!

Couldn't be more thankful for that one!

Oh, yes! And a live-action Wonder Woman movie, at last!

Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Well, I don't celebrate that festivity for obvious reasons but I wish all of you a good time.

I suppose I'm thankful for books like Nightwing though.

    - Detective Comics being consistently great.
    - Actually, the entire Bat-line being pretty solid.
    - A new Batwoman series next year, which sounds awesome.
    - The live-action Wonder Woman movie.
    - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
    - Logan, which looks amazing.

    Young Justice Season 3
    The Return of Wally West
The continuing awesomeness of Dick Grayson
    Injustice 2
    The upcoming Rebirth storyline
A renewed hope for DC comics and the DCEU
And the impending failure of almost every comic I don't like

Just kidding about that last one, even though it's true

    * A live action Wonder Woman movie

    * The return of Young Justice to the small screen

    * DC Comics finally finding their footing and getting back to telling good stories that are a pleasure to read again.

    * Being able to finally enjoy the Superman line again.

    * Super Sons finally starting.

    *Young Animal (the new Vertigo)
*DC finally pushing towards a coherent shared universe that's less about 'creators leaving their mark' on characters and more about evolving a 'living' world that's bigger than any of them.
*The returns of Dr. Fate and Ted Kord. And the promise of Legion with Saturn Girl making appearances.
    *Digital distribution of old comics.
*Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 proving that all-ages material doesn't have to mean 'just for kids' or even have to have cartoonish art.
    *The return of the Titans.
    *Scooby Doo Team-Up.
*The return of the Doom Patrol.
    *Young Justice Season 3.
*The return of smiles. The 90s angst "I'm really constipated and annoyed" poses are finally on their way out.
    *Batman actually does sit.

A Superman line that actually for the most part has it's sh!t together.

A wonder Woman movie AND a Justice League movie for 2017!

Digital comics. They've saved me a ton in space and storage supplies, and makes it easier to fit my buys and reads into my budget. If im short on funds a particular month,i don't have to fret missing a few issues,as I can easily catch up when it's feasible.

Oh,and this forum. Probably the most sane place on the web regarding comics discussion.
When it comes to comics, one person's "fan-service" is another persons personal cannon. So by definition it's ALL fan service. Aren't we ALL fans?

    I'm thankful for:

    - Rebirth and DC realizing the mistakes they've made and striving to do better going forward, for both their heroes and their fans.

    - The return of Wally West and the revitalization of the New 52 Wally West.

    - The return of the Titans.

    - Robert Venditti doing a 180 on his Green Lantern work.

    - Greg Rucka restoring the classic Wonder Woman to the DCU.

    - Steven Orland's Justice League of America.

    - The Superman line becoming the strongest it's ever been, restoring a classic Superman and Supergirl in the process, as well as restoring the Super-marriage.

    - The trailer for the Wonder Woman movie.

    - Justice League Action.

    - The variety of DC Animation we have now.

    - DC Super Hero Girls becoming such a success.

    - The return of Young Justice (now get on the comics DC!).

    - Wonder Woman comics - never cared about the character before, but the rebirth version made me a fan
    - Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye - I longed for a comic that pushed the boundaries like this.
    - Um Sábado Qualquer (One Random Saturday), new favorite comic strip, by Carlos Ruas
    - All-Star Batman - Two-Face is a favorite of mine, and this tale is fantastic
    - Having a reason to buy DC comics after Multiversity
    - Captain Carrot will soon return
    - A new Bone story
Favorite books right now: Wonder Woman, Groo, Usagi Yojimbo, Super Sons
