Even after the accident he still produced music, which is when I got hip to him via Dr. Dre. Crazy prolific when you include The Impressions from the early 60s. Streaming short-changes the artists but I'm glad to have Spotify for guys like Mayfield. I can fall all the way into the sounds that was before my time, he was special.
