Because Maxwell is the last of the male R&B singers, that I recognize anyway. Historic run.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?You bet yer ass.
RIP to the great Keith Le Blanc. Yes we always had the Autobiography in the house on the low bookshelf but one day I asked my Pops when I was a kid, "do you know who Malcolm X is" on the basis of that record.

You know how you've always got some songs that you kinda take for granted when they air on the radio, even if in the back of you're mind you know they're good, but you've just never really paid much attention to them? I've been contuining my journey through the charts of 1979, and came across Third World's cover of the O'Jays' 'Now That We Found Love'. Was of course a smash hit for them, and at least here in the Netherlands, came to overshadow the original. I did some reading into Third World, and was surprised to learn that most of the members in that line-up had also been in Inner Circle before. Had no idea there was such a close tie between the two bands. And they really knock it out of the ballpark with this live rendition of 'Now That We Found Love'.
Take my dreams, childish and weak at the seams
Please don't analyze, please just be there for me
