Far as deuling Effie's, this is Hudson's biggest accomplishment imo. That whole Aretha thing was just Queen lookin' out and doin' the best with what talent is available. Hudson's Effie hit for the power and range so well, I feel she got as close as you're gonna get. Holiday is the OG so there wouldn't have been a performance to follow but Jennifer Hudson sure'n damn did do that.
