Well, Curtis was 20 when he wrote Um,Um,Um,Um.
And I think he was 14 when he wrote Gypsy Woman, which was covered A LOT over the years.

Yea some of those chicks faces look they are under direst before them getting after it. I think I just fell in love with the right bottom two dancers at :56 they were showing some real attitude.

I love the quick crowd shot too lol, some of those young faces look like their daddies would be none to pleased if they told them what type of display they attended that afternoon.

The band is pretty heroic in this video. I'm pretty sure that Prince recorded everything on the track. All the instruments and most of the vocals except a few ones (the female ones... I'm not even convinced that Morris Day can actually be heard ...)
