No more Revolution in 1987, and I never had the chance to see them on stage... But some members were still around. I was 13 years old and I was there for Prince's 3rd tour date ever in Paris. And a few others later. RIP great man.
I saw two dates of the 1988 tour : the two shows weren't identical at all... One of them lasted far more then 3 hours...
The 'Intro' song is 'Erotic City'. A true gem.

Isaac Hayes covering Walk On By. This video is for the movie Dead Presidents
A classic.
I always feel a bit guilty about viewing all those awesome Prince clips on youtube, considering he always made sure we could not see them when he was still alive.
Long week, turn up. Try not to let Rosie destroy your pelvis.
Yes please, 1:52

Beefing up the old home security, huh?You bet yer ass.
Everyone loves "Waterfalls" ( including Bette Midler who did a pretty good version of it), but this is my favorite song from CrazySexyCool.
This is my 2nd favorite Janet video ( my first is the long version of Alright). I just love the 80's fashion, the fact that it's deliberately shot to look like a golden aged back lot musical style, and the "Hitchcock fake one take" camera work. And of course the catchy melody.
^My favourite Janet Jackson video is The Pleasure Principle. I'm really digging the choreo (by Barry Lather) in this one, even if she does cheat the 'chair jump' at around 2:20 minutes in (by using a cut shot between her mounting the chair and descending with it). Back then in the Control days, Janet was still mostly seen as 'Michael's little sister', but I always admired her as an entertainer, even if she isn't the greatest vocalist out there.
Take my dreams, childish and weak at the seams
Please don't analyze, please just be there for me

You're welcome.
