Her next album was a pretty slick affair, with the likes of Narada Michael Walden and Rod Temperton producing, the latter offering Mica this composition years before Quincy Jones and Tamia made it a hit in the US:

The video is pretty cringy at this point, 30 some-odd years later but make no mistake, Loose Ends was the truth. I'm not saying they're a poor man's Sade but I'm also not, not saying that.
