Always like more Carnage... enjoyed it more when it was about Cletus then someone else taking over the Symbiote. Hope this is about Kassidy and just... how insane he is and his chaos worshipping ways.

Thank god it's the real Hobgoblin, and not Phil.
Mini's that tie into events feel like useless filler to me. There are very few mini's since Civil War boomed this event craze that have been worth reading and had some sort of impact on the grand scheme of things.
One thing I appreciate about Original Sin is that the mini's aren't a must and they aren't overflooding the market with them.
Secret Invasion...that's when I gave up, that one was the epitome of overkill with mini's tied to an event. Overkill.
Nice Carnage cover. I plan on getting AXIS, I love Remender, but I'll steer clear of the mini's.
Hmm eveyr bit added to Axis , add an interesting layer.
I've alreayd noticed how the main villains rooster and the main heroes rooster are like twisted mirrors, but not in the way we could expect(for the chronicle the a parllel/reflection ebtween Luke Cage and Hobgoblin work even better that the aparallele between Luke and Goblin).
And now i noticed more - All these villains, have a thing in common. They all were the "definying" Villain of a period of the Marvel Universe. The one villain that somehow managed to be so "iconic" to stuck - not an easy task considering all new villains are promptly forgotted/underused forcing writer to create unrealistic herovshero battles that no one really appreciate(I hope).
Red Skull right now is like the sentient avatar of the idea of nazism, classic pulp villain
Loki was the first Avenger villain, but is more. He is a MYTHICAL villain, one tied within the texture of story and myth, epic villain all the way(and trying to escape this fate I should add)
Doom is, well, Doom. The prototype of the Villain, THE superhero villain. The mold all the mad sicentist necromancers had to look up
Hobgoblin is the greedy affarist, born in the 80s. Essentially a superpowered Gordon Gekko. You know he is secretely screwing you. Even the mistery of his dientity is somehow symbolic of the conflictual and mysterious nature of the world of hihg finance and its inhabitants whose life is seen by most istorted by their excesses.
Carnage is the dark, unstable aspect of insanity and madness, the serial killer, the boogeyman of the late 80's and 90's fiction. The sad rpoof the violence and abuse perpetuate themselves.
Sabertooth is similar, in that he, at times, was shown as anarchist serial killer. More a dumb beast than else. But his early appearence he was just a brutal superpowered mercenary. And so it was shown in all those flashback from Wolverine past, a cunning specialist, who like his job. A lot. And i think this what make Sabertooth, he is the opportunist villain. The evil mercenary, the dark shadow of miltary and govern(remeber he liked being part of Weapon X program...), the memento mori of the most ***est decision govern took - a monster sure, but a monster made by Authority and then let loose on the streets.
The choice is not bad. But perhaps there is a lack of female villainess(to be honest right now decent female villainess are kind of rare, even more that decent villains in general)
You aren't even a little excited at the prospect of Magneto blowing his gasket when Red Skull misuses Charles' brain for anti-mutant evil? Because I think that alone could make it work the price of admission.
I'm curious about the return of Doom and Loki's incredibly odd relationship since the whole Cabal thing. God knows those two are endlessly unpredictable together and highly entertaining.
Consider me sold on the Hobgoblin mini. I'm excited about the creative team, and even more so about Kingsley re-establishing himself as the true Hobgoblin. Pumpkin bombs in October? Perfect!
BOOSTER GOLD (Michael Jon Carter), HAWKEYE (Clint Barton), IRON FIST (Daniel Rand), MOON KNIGHT (Marc Spector aka Steven Grant aka Jake Lockley), NIGHTCRAWLER (Kurt Wagner), NOVA (Richard Rider)
