I think I would be okay with that. I like that Eden has seemingly become a supporting cast to the title and I hope he gets to stick around. Him being with Shuri would be nice too.

I enjoyed the new issue and I liked seeing Shuri comfort T'Challa. The talk between the two of them was great and I liked seeing them with Ramonda. I also think Shuri's message to T'Challa to be a "King of today" is what has T'Challa wanting to get back with Storm. I think he is done living by the standards of his ancestors and is going to see the woman he loves. Shuri is no joke and I liked that she put it bluntly that T'Chaka, Azzari, and Bashenga are dead men whose time has passed.

Interestingly, Shuri seemed to have followed her own advice as her reign went on.

Rather than trying to follow T'Challa's footsteps, she ended up ruling her own way, even committing actions T'Challa most likely wouldn't have done (her actions in Waid's Daredevil and bringing back the Hatute Zeraze, for example). Trying to mimic T'Challa would've been a disaster, being that--difference of talents and abilities aside--they aren't the same person, just like T'Challa isn't like T'Chaka.
