I think there have been so many versions of these Capcom fighting games over the years that there are indeed versions where she doesn't get the character's abilities, just a more general boost, as you say, but I know she copied powers in the version I remember.

She's only been in two games and if you go back to the post you quoted I responded to StephenFoxMonster whom specifically mentioned MvC2 and her powerup draining ability

Yeah, which I agree that would make her redundant. They could do her taking certain moves though like they did in the game Yogaflame posted. It would offset her from the Infinity stone aspects of the game. She could be what Kirby is to Smash bros.

I mean, DLC's are DLC's. I think it would actually be awesome to have Carol and Rogue in the same game together(so they can FIGHT!). Besides, Rogue's classic Ms. Marvel powers didn't include the Binary stuff, and she'd be able to mimic anyone else in the game. That's a difference enough. Look at how they included Wolverine and X23 in the last game, or Hulk and She-Hulk. Sure they had slightly different ways of moving, but they are essentially the same powersets. It could be like that for Rogue and Carol.

Together? No way. I'd use Storm and Rogue and my Rogue will beat Captain Marvel for good.

I honestly hope we get characters with out of the box power moves. I can think of it with Psylocke, Magik, and Blink. One from New Mutants and one from GenX.

Psylocke was a lot of fun in the older Capcom games. They do love teleporters, too. I think Magik would be great, a bit like Blackheart!

15 on the marvel side. This is my prediction (excluding x-men for now). I tried to think who Marvel would put in.

8. Spider Woman or Spider Gwen
9. Scarlet Witch
10. Star lord
11. One of the other GOTG (likely Gamora)

14. Howard the Duck or Squirrel Girl

Gotta admit, classic Marvel Scarlet Witch would be an interesting Capcom character. So many possibilities!!! Not sure if MCU's non-magical, mostly red telekinesis/telepathy version would be anything other than a Phoenix re-skin, but that kinda thing does happen in these games.

But your list is definitely missing T'Challa. I look forward to seeing him as a character. Fast, strong, agile fighter and evader, with some potential Wakandan technological aids for a super. Something like Doom's trap would be cool.
