While X-Men or no X-Men won't bother me, what will bother me is if they go purely for characters that have gotten movies or shows, and not taking any from those that are still only in the comics.

Captain Marvel is long overdue in this game and im pretty sure we'll be getting her! YES YES YES!

Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Ms Marvel and Thor Jane will be some of the new faces this time, i think. Dr Strange is very likely to come back.

Granted It frees up 5 spots on the roster. Well expect Deadpool who I assume will still be around. Assuming around 20.

Solo Movie Stars: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel are guaranteed.
GOTG: Rocket Raccoon, Star Lord, Gamora and Drax can all get in. In that order.
Other Avengers: Hulk, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Winter Soldier, Falcon, Ant-man and Wasp. Are all options. Black Widow the top option after Hulk who is obvious.
Villains: Dr. Doom, Thanos and Loki. Maybe Dormammu.
Inhumans: Black Bolt and Medusa. Kamala Khan has a chance.
Spider-man: Peter Parker, Miles, Spider-Gwen, and Silk. Villain wise you have Green Goblin, Dr. Oc, and Venom.
Defenders: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Punisher On dock
Midnight Sons: Ghost Rider, Blade and Moon Knight.

I have got 16. I be absolutely stunned if they didn't show up as playable. Plus Deadpool so 17.
