"Infinity" questions

Has "Infinity" been compiled without the related issues of "Avengers" and "New Avengers"?

The local comic shop has a compilation that includes the 6 issues of "Infinity" along with the related "Avengers" and "New Avengers" issues. The price is not unreasonable. (20-odd issues worth of content is well worth $50.) But, I have the tie-in content (already compiled).

Volume 4 of Hickman's "Avengers" is clearly meant to be read alongside "Infinity", to the point that it may as well have been part of "Infinity". It probably read great as the comics were coming out. But, as a compilation, not so much. (It ties in to Hickman's larger run thematically. But, the context is almost non-existent.) Reasonable price or not, I really do not feel like re-buying 3 compilations worth of comics.


(That being said, how good is "Infinity"?)

I'm not sure about a special Infinity compilation, but pretty much yeah Avengers and New Avengers should be read right alongside Infinity. With that being said I enjoyed Infinity very much. I know there were many complaints about continuity and OOC moments, but I enjoyed the ride since I was reading all of Hickman's Avengers to begin with.

Rumor has it an omnibus is planned for 2017 and the first vol. should compile Avengers, NA and Infinity

I am not bashing on "Infinity". Nor am I complaining about the format. (It makes sense for that stuff to be compiled together. I would just rather not re-buy stuff I already have. (It would have been nice if Marvel had not compiled the "Avengers" and "New Avengers" separately.)
