Default Robin Year One Graphic Novel Review (Canon Read Through #15)

I've had a bit of time away but i'm ready to jump back into the rest of the run (though knightfall will probably take a while as it's massive) but he is the first year of Robin's adventure.

You can check out my full thoughts on the graphic novel below.

FUN FACT: Dent's plan with the judge in Robin Year One is a retcon of flashback scenes in Robin #0 (which is part 0 of Batman Prodigal) and is thus Dixon connecting his two stories (Robin Year One and Prodigal).

Thus the "double gallows" incident becomes a big part of Dick's long feud with and fear of Two-Face, which he mostly cures later in life in Prodigal.

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

I think that is a book you can kick from the list, I doubt that it is canon and it is probaly one of the worst Batman stories ever.

    What help do you need?
The problem is in general that in within the post crisis canon some stories exist in different versions. There are for at least 4 different versions of Dick becoming origin in this continuity, two for Two-face origin and Catwomas origin is anyway a complete mess (especially if you want to bring When in Rome into it). And who canonic retroactive stories like that are is allways debatable.

Question? Is World of Flashpoint Feat Batman the last Batman story to read before the reboot of New52?
Is this the ending or last book?

I think most everyone puts The Gauntlet after Dark Victory and before Robin Year One. It features Dick's final test to becoming Robin.
