    On The Muffs...

It's worth noting that what will probably wind up being the band's final album No Holiday was just released.

While they were never a band that was going to up out something like Songs From The Elder, The Muffs were pretty evergreen in that every single album felt like you were listening to a band that was just getting started.

Here's a piece Roy McDonald talking about Kim...

    To riff off of this...

It's also worth noting that the TonyALL album New Girl, Old Story album is also a part of that equation. It's essentially former Descendent's bassist/songwriter Tony Lombardo with that era's lineup of All acting as his backing band. You sort of have to be a fan of one or both bands, but it's probably going to work for folks who are.

In addition to that, Tony was in a band called Spiffy for a hot minute back in the second half of the nineties.

AAh! One of my favorite GoGo's songs! God knows why but it was unavailable on YouTube for a few years, but it's back again. Also..isn't that Rob Lowe?! And Jane looks like early 60's cartoon George Harrison

If this song came out say 5-6 yrs earlier, it would have been sold in America as a "disco" song rather than a "new wave" song...

Ghost In The Machine was a hit and The Police then became a mainstream band, but Reggatta De Blanc and Zenyatta Mondatta they were still considered "New Wave" in America

I'd argue Zendatta is where they went mainstream in the US as it was a big hit here and they even picked up some Grammy awards from it. Fantastic band.
