Sublime
I found a lofi remix of some 90's classics, and I can't stop replaying them now. Nostalgia overload to drift off to sleep.
Back when you could walk up to a club and see an indie rock band for like 5 bucks...
It's no secret that a lot of times they would turn Sid's bass down during live performances. And whoever mixed this footage upheld that tradition
Having said that, I think this song and "Bodies" were the only songs from Never Mind The Bollocks that Sid got song writing credit for, however their first bassist Gen Matlock was the only member to get royalties from that record for a number of years.
Glen Matlock's band after leaving the Pistols. And yeah...like a number of punk/new wave bands of this time the Kinks influences is definitely a thing
Look close an there's a cameo by Henry Rollins, plus the girl doing the spoken word stuff uses lines from beat poet Allen Ginsberg
The Sparks have some sort of Rock Opera that just came out? Gah!
Duff from GnR and Krist from Nirvana. Back in the early 90's there was a feud between these bands. Part of it was probably genre stuff ( punks vs hair bands) but if I remember correctly a huge chunk of it was Courtney mocking Axl Rose and at some show Axl confronting Kurt about Cortney.
Krist is lookin' all Bun E Carlos. All he needs is cigarette...

I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't realize that Steve Bronski passed away in December
