There's actually a lot left out concerning race and racism in the punk rock and hardcore scenes back in the day, but as a 10 minute intro this isn't bad.
Rocket From the Tombs spawned this band and Pere Ubu. Pere Ubu took things in a more art rock direction, while the Dead Boys went the opposite more Iggy/Pistols route. A lot of the Dead Boys songs today would be problematic (like violently sexist), but here's one that's more just rebel teen stuff.
After the Dead Boys, singer Stiv Bators formed Lords of the New Church with ex-members of Sham 69 and the Damned. The Lords were a bit more "socially aware" than The Dead Boys, and while I'm not so sure that they were considered Hardcore Goth, they did use what some might consider goth visuals.
