    The Posies were an alt-rock band from the early 90's and their biggest hit I think was "I can dream all day". This song is a cover of the Germs who were a hardcore punk band from LA in the early 90's, but they do it here as if it were a mid-60's pop song. It's basically a mash up of a couple of Beatles tunes...



    "You Won't See Me" and "Guitar Gently Weeps"?
