I actually saw Rancid open for the Lunachicks way back when and it seemed like the next day the blew up on MTV

Also Tim Armstrong's guitar "playing" is always a source of good humor

I'm too lazy to look it up now but I think the guy that wrote this song later formed the Georgia Satellites...

The Beastie Boys and Elvis Costello on SNL doing Radio Radio. The beginning when Elvis says, "Stop! Stop!" changes the song is reference to an incident that got him banned from the show for over 10 yrs

Here's the Elvis performance from 1977. He was supposed to play "Less Than Zero" switched at that last second. He said he got the idea from seeing Hendrix on an old show. Lorne Michaels was extremely angry and reportedly stood on the sidelines giving the band the finger while they played.

I could be wrong I think the complete performance is unavailable in official clips

What a coincidence! We have an Elvis Costello tribute event happening tonight at a local venue. A bunch of local bands are performing songs of his. I wanted to go, but my gf has class......

Not sure if there was an actual "official" video, as this song was recorded well over a decade before Fight Club, but that movie did usher a resurgence in popularity for The Pixies. At any rate, this is probably my favorite song in the whole world. I get chills every time I hear it still, 25+ years after hearing it for the first time.

Ironically, Hnery Rollins actually did become a talk host years later
