This is going to be real hard for me to choose this time. Going with Stony. Captain Carrot was another series I remember buying in the early 1980's.

While I really REALLY like my cover, I don't want to be a prick and pick my own so I'll go with...

Tami for a cover that is also significant in my early comic collecting. Love that cover!

There is this Uncle Scrooge story I read at a very young age, and this "first" comic book by CaptainCleghorn... But how can I resist to a giant Docteur Fatalis, the Fantastic Five or the Fantastic Six (don't know what to do with Daredevil and the Thing-Bot), Jack Kirby and Wally Wood ?

    I can't : Iron Maiden.

I'm torn between Abe's cover from a Marvel Comic Anthology series in France since I've never seen those before. Then there's Doughy Man's Daredevil cover by Wally Wood, an artist of some significance in this thread since Abe's cover has what looks like Wally Wood's Doom from Astonishing Tales #1. He also inked the Daredevil figures for Fantastic Four #39-40. Love Wally Wood's Daredevil covers!

    Final choice: Doughy Man

Since there isn't any established criterion for this particular contest to base my choice on, I'll go with a Bronze Age cover featuring my favorite superhero on it:

    A bat! That's it! It's an omen.. I'll shall become a bat!

Interesting seeing everyone's first and/or earliest comics.

As for the cover I liked best, I am going with
    Doughy Man!

I've always loved the dizzying perspective on that DD cover.

Gotta go with the Wally Wood DD cover from Doughy Man as well.
