If I had to bet money, I'd wager that either Greg Pak or Dennis Hopeless would be tapped for writing Jean Grey's solo series. Both have experience writing Jean. Pak did it with Phoenix Endsong. Hopeless did it with X-men: Season One. They both have experience writing solo books and developing young characters. Personally, I'd prefer that Hopeless wrote the series, simply because his X-men: Season One did such a great job depicting a teenage Jean Grey. But I wouldn't be too disappointed if Pak got the gig.
Of course, there's always the possibility that someone completely different could write it. That's always a possibility with Marvel, especially for a solo series.

I think this will be the Jean of TRN240.
It doesn't seem like the 616 Jean will ever return.....unless they are waiting till after the next X-Movie where Jean becomes Phoenix and survives, returning to the X-Men (as rumored). Then perhaps Jean 616 might be returned to the comics...
It could be Jean 616 as Phoenix, showing her adventures gathering it's pieces... But I am sure it will be Jeen.
Supposedly the Phoenix is involved with IVX or after that. Not sure what that means, but it's interesting.
Also I read that from an interview about the new X-Men line.
and as expected Jean Grey will be about the teen as was mentioned last month
What if Uncanny X-Men is still ongoing in Spring of 2017? Probably not going to have Adult Jean Grey in that book, but as be the cards are all almost dealt...there is still a last chance for a wild card.
