So yeah, it was merely for shock value.
So he just got turned into Thanksgiving dinner. I guess that definitely put a lid on who would win a fight in the future.

Still not sure if this is the worst thing thats happened to him this year so far or if its the fact that Jason Aaron is gonna be writing him lol.

Also damn i did not expect Superman fans to harass the writer over the issue online, thats a shame, especially after he said this Superman is just as powerful as the canon one

Yes i know, its good to know that certain forms of radiations are Supermans weakness.

It's going to be interesting to see if this is the worst thing to happen to him or if it will be Jason Aaron taking over the book lol.

No, Godzilla's atomic breath in this crossover is similar to kryptonite (this is out of monsterverse continuity too).

Aaron is writing a cosmic Superman going by the trailer.

At :14 seconds mark Bizarro destroyed a planet/moon by bullrushing Superman through it.

Not reading this series, but the explanation is a bit eye roll-inducing. Oh well.

Yeah, seems like a copout and tbh the writer doesn't seem to like Superman. Remember, he was the writer of Injustice season 4 where every Tom, dick and harry beat the crap out of regime Superman nonstop , making him look like a chump.

Aaron is writing one of the most powerful Superman ever.

Bizarro casually swats Superman to Venus/25 million miles within seconds. And then they fight around the solar system(and looks like they also destroys a moon/asteriod on Jupiter?)

I don't recall any high tier in comics backhanding someone to Venus from Earth in moments, EVER lol.

Well, perhaps not since Flashturd and New Poopy-2. But before then, Superman himself did that and more to a certain Amazon while in a murderous episode orchestrated by the Black King. Dets available in SUPERMAN SACRIFICE or THE OMAC PROJECT

That was a full punch. Bizarro simply swatted Superman to Venus in moments.

You're projecting. It was Byrne and Kahn that thought high power levels were childish.

I do think one of the oddest things I've seen Post-Flashpoint was how fans of the Post-Crisis Superman have tried to liken him to Pre-Crisis Superman. Always seemed like subtle admission that alot of the Post-Crisis changes were bad ideas in the long run.

I thought Bizarro was opposite guy. His casual looking backhand thing isn't his equivalent of 'I wanna wreck you very much!!! Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!"**add DBZ motion lines here**

I don't follow how your post above responds to my message. Was this to one of the guys talking levels?

The Daily Planet is not The New York Times. I feel like stories treat it like some sort of Metropolis institution, their finest, the paper of record. Maybe that's just the romanticizing of newspapers that's been around forever. Let's not forget that it's based on the Toronto Daily Star and the old New York World; socially conscious muck-raking journalism. Not as low-brow as a tabloid (that honor would go the The Daily Bugle), but not as "objective" as the Times. For instance, they don't have separate editorial and news departments (but that may be a consequence of writers not knowing how serious newspapers work.)
    I like this take.
