While I was hoping for someone new, Hopeless does love Jean, and did a wonderful job writing her in Season One. Love Ibanez, and I'm looking forward to seeing him drawing more of Jean. Although I'm rather tired of the Phoenix force, it was only a matter of time before this version of Jean would have to deal with it, and I like what Hopeless has said about the book thus far. Looking forward to picking this up.

I like Hopeless, but starting off with a Phoenix story feels a bit obvious. Ibanez is a fine artist, his Jean isn't my favorite, but a lot of that is due to her current costume and the odd coloring choices in EXM. I like the idea of Jean interacting with other Phoenix hosts, also look forward to Boom Boom. I'll give this one a try.

you do make a goood point! i think he does worst with books that require more seriousness and direction.
