Do the likes of Blue Beetle, El Diablo, Aquagirl and Bunker count as Indigenous characters considering their ancestry? Or do they not count because they're Hispanic culturally?

As an oldschool Legion fan, I've got to go with Dawnstar, though I did like Equinox and would love to have seen more of her.

Zap, zap!"

"Uh, it's a doorknob. You're supposed to grab and twist..."

    "Can't hear! Lightning! Zap, zap!"

Looks like "Chief" from the Wonder Woman movie made it into the comics (along with Sameer and Charlie), though they are all modern-day characters and connected to A.R.G.U.S.

Yeah, she was pretty interesting and I kinda liked the implied love triangle between her and Mera over Arthur. It was one of the better-handled love triangles in recent memory. I hope she won't be forgotten.

Then again, it may just be simply that fair-skinned, red-haired Roy Harper may not be that believable as a half-Native child?
That last bit was my first thought when I saw the question. It would just make fans snort when they ran across the ludicrous suggestion that "Roy has been half-Native American by blood all along, and we just never mentioned it before, and he's never been drawn and colored in a way that would even remotely hint at it, but we know you won't complain!" The only way it would make sense would be if they had waited for the next "Cosmic Reset Event," such as Flashpoint leading to the New 52, and then rebooted him as having a rather darker complexion than he's ever had before, saying: "That's the way it is in the new-and-improved timeline!"

John Ravenhair/ Black Bison is probably my favorite. I enjoyed Equinox too, though.
