Default Should Whedon et Morisson be back ?

We all know this universal truth : Morisson and Whedon, Whedon and Morrisson, the two, 21 century, greatest X-Men writer. Those two, we need them more than ever now than the interstellar threat, the inhuman, is more present than ever before. With two book : New real new X-Men and Astonishing surprising X-Men they will rise them as the main major heros from comic book (marvel and DC). Let'sget real, it's the only hope of survival.

I'll take Whedon on an X-movie.

Whedon at a push, but not Morrison. I enjoyed Whedon's run for the most part, but Morrison's never gelled with me personally.

The romantic in me (wearing rose-tinted glasses) thinks that Claremont should have yet another crack at his darlings but, realistically, I'd like Mike Carey to return or, completely out of left field, Joe Casey!

Morrison was good, but Mike Carey and Kieron Gillen write the X-Men far better.

IDK why Whedon would take peanuts doing comics when he probably has multiple execs begging him to do another comic book movie.

And yes, he would be perfect for an X title honestly.

Nope. Whedon is overrated and Morrison....I'm still bitter over him killing off Jean and putting Scott with Emma

I agree Whedon is overrated, but his X-Men run was pretty good.

Morrison can stay far, far away - the X-Men don't need any more deconstruction.

I'd also be up for Gillen or Carey to come back to the books.

Remender had probably the top recent run with the team. I feel he gets left out since he wasn't writing a main series book. I'd buy a series with any of the three on creative.

Honestly I'd just be thrilled to have Kyle and Yost back.

I'm highly disapointed by the lack of votes for the Toccata and Fugue in D minor !

Other than that Whedon's run was great. Een if it's true Gillen's run was not bad, it could not compare, I think, to the whole story, created by Whedon in Astonoshing. Everything was good, the arts, the charcaters, the scenario etc...

For Morisson, his run was full of change and surprise. Arts were quite good and darker than what it was before. The scenario was really good with a good pace and a tragic ending which really please me. And he was able to end the Scott and Jean relationship and starting the Scott and Emma relationship in a beliviebale way by using the past story which was not something easy to do. Thanks to that, Scott and Emma pairing is almost as strong, if not more now, than the previous Scott and Jean pairing. And it's great because peoples change throught their life and so is Scott (which make him a really intertesing character)
