    That's what I was talking about a few days ago when I said it would be interesting to keep watching how all the various X-projects for release for 2019 and beyond would develop - Re Gambit losing its director.

    Yes, it will be business as usual for Fox until the Disney acquisition is approved, but I have a hard time believing producers and directors will invest time in movies Disney might not release because they don't fit with their vision for the franchise. And as another example, Drew Goddard already got burned with the Sinister Six movie at Sony - is he really gonna put in work into X-Force knowing it might not get released either?

    **** news. Really sad.

    Christopher from Omega Underground kinda ok with that and says that similar director situation right before production happend to Deadpool 2, First Class and DOFP. He asumes that new director will be announced soon and told: "They would have covered their bases before an announcement like this hit the trades. I'm sure they've already met with people."

    Still hoping for the better.

    IIRC Flash lost two. Gambit is at three.

    A finished blockbuster is not going to be held back. The idea alone is absurd.

    Technically WB "split over creative differences" with just one director, Rick Famuyiwa. They booted the first guy themselves because he didn't have any movie directing experience and they realized it wasn't such a good idea especially after how critics didn't go easy on BvS.

    Gambit has lost 3 directors now, Rupert Wyatt, Doug Liman and now Gore Verbinski. Pity because each one was better than the one before.

    @shawnxmadden

    Verbinski news is nuts. Expect a new Gambit director announced shortly as Fox is intent on sticking to that start date from what I've heard.

    Oh, the movies and television stuff...

    Although he actually spend like a third of the movie in wherever it was he learned to be an Assassin in Batman Begins, and made a side trip to Hong Kong in the Dark Knight. And retired away from Gotham in The Dark Knight Rises.

    You also oddly failed to mention Justice League and JL Unlimited.

    I did not fail to mention those. I left them out because those are secondary. Gotham is Batman's primary and main business.. the upcoming Batman movies by Matt Reeves will be very contained to Batman. I was right when I said things are going back to basics.
