Great new costume! I didn't like the classic yellow and blue on Laura at all. Leonard Kirk also makes me nostalgic toward X-Factor. I will definitely be buying.

Nice, love the new look. I thought she should have gone for the gray and black from the start. Itching to see his take on Laura, but after a quick look at his previous work I think he should be a great fit. Hopefully the book can keep him and not lose him after an arc like happened with Lopez and Takara. :-\

I was about to say. This isn't the sign of another new X-Book, just reconfirming that we're keeping at least one of the existing ones. OML will likely be another.

Taylor continues to impress me with his choices in making X-23 a great character to me after really not digging her for years (in no small part due to Gabby and Jonathan as well!). Love the new costume and the minimal references to teen romance.

Love this announcement. Tom Taylor keeps raising the bar with All-New Wolverine. He's done so much for X-23 in his run and at a time when the rest of the X-books were a disheveled mess. He really seems to have a great feel for the character. And the introduction of Gabby and Jonathan the Wolverine have only made it more fun. It's a big relief to hear that they'll be returning for this new series. Also really like the design of her new costume. I always wondered why Wolverine, with all the friends and technology he has at his disposal, didn't try to wear something a bit more high tech. A healing factor shouldn't make getting shot any less pleasant.

X-23, for the most part, has avoided the mess and chaos that have plagued the rest of the X-men. I hope that continues with this series and beyond. Given that she's set to make her movie debut with Logan, the time for her ascension couldn't be better.

I see it as the best of both worlds; it allows Marvel to announce a jumping on point for new readers, while still keeping the existing numbering going for readers.
