Not that I agree with them, nor do I think this is why WW isn't ambassador anymore. But they have a point, even though protesting a rather silly and useless title for a fictional character is a complete waste of time from my perspective.
This is a good point, but they way presented on the petitions it was more body shame than a reasonable critic

I would hope that there are better ways to promote female empowerment and gender equality than throwing a fit over a fictional character being chosen as an honorary UN ambassador. Surely there are more pressing matters going on in the world, no? Other than providing ideas for a potential future comic story, I just don't see how this 'petition' will benefit the advancement and empowerment of women in any way.

Well, valid points is a very subjective characteristic.

Like i said, it seems that the only superheroine qualified for this position is Faith. You know, thin privilege and all of that.

Yes, Jean Grey has never been sexualized...

That's why one of her classic outfits is a skintight green catsuit.

Superhero comics and some their fans have different standards for this. As long as less than 80% of skin is showing, it's not sexualised.[/sarcasm]

Honestly, I have seen people here claim that Balent's Catwoman is not sexualised because no skin is showing.

In today's Justice League vs Suicide Squad #1, there was a full page advertisement for this campaign. It was also in Trinity.

No, it was for the original campaign, with artwork by Nicola Scott. It was the image used at the ceremony that Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot attended. It was nice to see the artwork, whether the campaign is continued or not, it is a good cause.

    Yeah this was depressing.......
I don't want to vent the many reasons I am angry about this, and trust me there are many reasons.
    So
1:read the WW 75th aniversary issue to see why WW should be reins tighten.
2:Just make Gal Gadot UN representatives if need be
