Default The Legends of Wonder Woman is no more...

Bleeding cool reported it and the creators confirmed it.

    DANG IT DC!!!

I may not be a big Wonder Woman fan, but even I know a great told story when I see one and great art that shows that story very well.

    NOOOO!

I'm crushed. TLoWW was one of the best Wonder Woman stories. DC is foolish not to continue this series (and I really sympathize with De Liz and Dillon, who had been told that Vol. 2 is a go months ago).

Worst of all... Renae posted on twitter that the Blue Snowman (who we all know is one of my faves) was going to appear! UGH. A horrible day indeed.

    That SUCKS!!!

Dang it, DC! With Diana's popularity about to reach an all-time high, you cancel a book that faithfully captures everything the character is supposed to stand for?

I can't even think of a reason why they'd do this. The book is out of continuity, so it's not like it will interfere with any events or direction changes for Diana. It sold well enough and has EXCELLENT reviews and word of mouth. This just reeks of a corporation deciding they'd rather save a little money.

My condolences to Renae and Ray. You guys deserved better than this.

Hopefully if people rally together and buy the first volume, DC might wise up and continue the series. I already know quite a few people who I'll be getting it for as Christmas gifts.

Agreed! Let's start a campaign, people!

This really sucks; Now fans will have to do the DC job: market this and sell to other fans/potential fans

I purchased the new HC when it came out. I've been reading it here and there, and its amazing. I really do laugh at what's happening, and everything feels so natural and smooth story wise. The art is top notch to say the least. And an interesting story that may be slower paced than most, but that doesn't mean its bad! Its so enjoyable and fun to read. The artwork on the HC is glorious as well. It pains me to see a writer like this be axed so shamelessly this time of year. That is a level of cruelty I wish on no one.

According to her twitter, she has a gofundme to help push through the new year. If you could donate some and maybe pick up the new HC if you haven't (believe me its fantastic), it would mean a lot.

Not cool DC! WW gets dumped as ambassador and then all of sudden you piss your pants and cancel anything extra with her?

Ugh, what a way to cap off what's been a crummy day. Thanks DC .

I just don't understand why they'd just suddenly cancel this, after already giving the go-ahed for Volume 2, given both the critical reception, passion of the creators, and the fact that Diana's popularity is set to reach an all-time high. Things were firing on all cylinders, so why would DC do this ?

The only remotely acceptable answer would be "We've got something bigger and better planned for Diana!"

Anything other than that will just sound like typical corporate excuse-making.

Renae on her facebook states it wasn't the sales that canceled the project. Also I don't know but I started it petition

    Signed it!

Renae also hinted that she had plans for Eviless in Vol. 2! Ugggh... please change your minds, DC.

If it wasn't sales, then there's no excuse for killing this book.

    I've already signed.

While it's certainly a bummer, it's great that they go the run that they did.
