Two thumbs up! I loved that old cartoon when I was a kid! And yes, I warbled along with the theme song!

    Silent Night,
    Scary night,
    Krampus creeps up,
    To give you fright,
You've been naughty, lazy and bad,
So I'll steal you from your mommy and dad,
    Eat you piece by piece,
    Eat you piece by piece

I think Sinterklaas and Krampus fit the theme.

Folklore, old magic? This should do....

How about some urban folklore? Like this one riffing on the "Paul is dead" legend...

You can find a bunch of books I wrote stories for here. The weekly column is here.

In the future, Punisher will be a legend from times gone by.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

My pleasure CJ! Loving your cover & all these great covers!

Also, no one told me about all the fantastic perks you get as a winner to this thing.... My favourite so far is the swipe card that gives access to the executive viewing suite.... I never knew I even had one of those at home behind the big rock in the corner...... I now have more TV screens than Ozymandias.... My cave's never looked better & just in time for Christmas. Oh well, will be a shame to relinquish it next week but deffo enjoying it while I can... ;-)

So far this week one of my highlights is Batman in 'the stocks'.... Grizzly.....
    We're all the Doom Patrol!!!
Opinions come in all shapes and sizes.
But they're still just opinions yo

BTW. the original song, as you probably know, was sung by a young Johnny (I Can See Clearly Now) Nash.
