I agree with some that Carol made up with Jess a little to quickly. I was hoping Carol would try make up with Jess, but Jess rejects her. Later, Carol is injured, and Jess has to rescue Carol. Then, Jess and Carol makeout... er... I mean make up.

I admit that I was unaware of tension between Jess and Carol. I'm guessing it's because of Civil War II. Considering Carol went beserk and tried to kill Tony, I am surprised Jess forgives her so easily. Ms Srew must be more tolerant than I am.

The need for therapy I certsinly agree with. Carol seems to be heading from a breakdown at this point.
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

In the Spider-Woman tie in, Carol kept bugging Jess for help in checking the accuracy of Ulysses visions. Finally Jess gives in because she trusts and respects Carol and if she can prove that he's not 100% right, then maybe that would make Carol put the breaks on. However, she gets a 100% success rate in her investigations. Then she learns of a certain character she was good friends with (not Tony - not sure how much of CWII you've read) death at the hands of her (Jessica's) ex-Boyfriend and well - yeah. Jess is pissed - at her ex for killing her good friend all because Carol stuck her nose into something she shouldn't have.

Over in Spider-Woman at the moment Jess is still pissed at Carol - but circumstances are making her have to accept Carol's offer of help.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Went back and read the last few months of Spider-Woman.

I agree with those above saying that, in light of #11 and #14, this reconciliation seems a bit out of the blue. It does make you wonder how closely the two writing teams are communicating.

On the other hands, it could make sense if its based on Jess' recent loss in her own book. Confronted with the reality that life is short yada yada yada.

Man, the way Carol was shown in #11, anyone would have wanted to punch her "smug little face".

Maybe SW #15 will help clear this up. Though based on the pacing of the book it might not be until the month after.
