Watching Game of Thrones and American Horror Story I can't help but think that Lena Headey and Jessica Lange would do a great job of playing Magneto.

Are there any other actors that you think would kill it in an opposite sex part?

Everyone in Hollywood these days is super generic looking so it makes it less fun to fancast. The weeding out of the character actor in lieu of the "stock lead" aesthetic is a travesty.

That's a terrible choice, Stewart can't emote at all, much less manage it with her eyes covered (a requirement for playing Cyclops no matter the gender).

Even when I see Stewart doing public stuff she keeps that same vacant look on her face - plus I can't really buy her doing anything physical which is a must for nearly any superhero. Even a shooty type like Cyclops.

Maybe Katheryn Winnick would look good as a brunette....

That's her public persona, yes. She doesn't like to be photographed so she basically keeps herself monotonous so that paparazzi are less interested in taking candids.
