Watching Game of Thrones and American Horror Story I can't help but think that Lena Headey and Jessica Lange would do a great job of playing Magneto.
Are there any other actors that you think would kill it in an opposite sex part?

Everyone in Hollywood these days is super generic looking so it makes it less fun to fancast. The weeding out of the character actor in lieu of the "stock lead" aesthetic is a travesty.
Charles - Julie Andrews
Cyclops - Sandra Bullock
Wolverine - Christina Ricci
Jean - Alex Mckensie
Storm - Todrick Hall
Magneto - Helen mirren
Okay, but, Richard Madden as Gene Grey.
Kristen Stewart as Cyclops.
Alice Eve as Angel.
Anna Kendrick as Ice(wo)man
Idris Elba as Storm
Jessica Lange as Magneto
I'm stuck on Beast

Even when I see Stewart doing public stuff she keeps that same vacant look on her face - plus I can't really buy her doing anything physical which is a must for nearly any superhero. Even a shooty type like Cyclops.
Maybe Katheryn Winnick would look good as a brunette....
