I don't like this thread. I would rather spend my time on enjoying books I like than bashing ones that aren't for me.

Maybe because I love Paper Girls and like Saga and W+D.

I did think Sex was pretty lame while Sex Criminals is awesome, but I don't know if that's "popular." I do think the Top Cow books are almost always poorly written and dopey, though.

Agreed entirely with this assessment of WD. I couldn't get into the characters because their situation was so relentlessly bleak and hopeless that I didn't see any point in reading a story about a group of refugees who get their asses handed to them every time.

Sex Criminals is great. I was checking out Sex, but the art is a bit odd?

I thought the art was the best part of Sex.

I've never read it, but despite all of the hype, every time I read the premise of Saga I think to myself 'Well, that sounds like a comic book I would forget that I had read...'

My purpose isn't to bash by any means. I respect each work.

Nobody is bashing anybody. If you dont like a thread because the opinions arent in line with yours..thats your problem.

I myself am not a fan of Wicked, think it is trying too hard in all aspects. However, the first trade I finished and thought it was ok. The further it got, the less invested I became.

I never understand these "I don't like these threads" people. They'll go into a thread, "declare how much they don't like it" and it's like they expect people to suddenly stop posting in it or something. If the thread is against the rules then report it. If it's not then ignore the thread. What's so hard about this? Do some people have browsers that lack back buttons and red x buttons?

Just kidding, I like these threads, especially when somebody I have never met starts complaining about me!

The Walking Dead is boring and so is the show, I don't know why anyone likes it.

Saga is clearly not for me, I like it, but in a totally uncommitted and dispassionate manner that is not enough to make me care after I put it down. I am almost annoyed by the adulation it gets.

I think I would need to reread the first trade to even get back into it. And I am not in a hurry to do that.

From other people's responses I wonder if the zen diagram of Image has very little crossover between those of us that love The Wicked + The Divine and those that love Saga. Does anyone love both?

I love Saga and Southern Bastards. I have read Paper Girls and The Wicked and the Divine first arc and i found them boring. The Walking Dead was good but i can never seem to be able to watch the tv version.

Never got into Saga. I don't hate it, just not my cup of tea.

I don't hate anything, but I thought Outcast was vastly overrated...Birthright looked lovely but reading it got tiresome after a while too.

TWD and Southern Bastards are my current Image faves.

"Love" might be a bit strong, but I do read and enjoy both.

I like both but Saga is a Top 10 Image title for me while WicDiv doesn't quite crack the the Top 20 anymore. WicDiv is just too inconsistant. That Brandon Graham issue alone was bad enough to taint the whole series for me. But all the gimmicky crap that Gillen has thrown at us has been a failure.
