I'm with you. I'm INTERESTED in Diana's struggles with her Gods in that they are not beholden to heroism, altruism, benevolence or even a sense of fairness, I felt the recent Truth run fell flat with regard to that tension. Perez did it very well, Rucka in his first run too. It's a fascinating thing to watch when your ethic and your faith don't sync up.
I'd like to see Morrison do an all-encompassing continuity run (Marston-Rucka) on Wonder Woman a la his Batman run. I think he could breathe life into some of Diana's weirder concepts, classic themes, and make it all make sense in a Morrisonian way.

I think the N52 run (up to 35) take on the gods is a brilliant read. Strong characters with some fantastic exploration of gender, how strength can become weakness and vice versa, and so on.
To me, the gods in rebirth was a bit of disney animal decor and a throw away twist on how the gods for whatever reason tricked Diana, but they still like her.
I was hoping his WW:E1 was something akin to his seaguy.
I've only read Futures end by him, but he seems to be good at writing big weird stuff. I think his take on Lana Lang, Grifter and Fifty Sue was really fun, as well as touching. I'm pretty sure he'd be able to write some good golden age fun. Super hero bondage, space kangas and what not.

Wonder Woman is a horrible murderer.
I'm kidding, sorry, don't know where to put this.
Pinsir, searching for SuperWonder relationship stuff, I stumbled upon this. Wow, one of the most gruesome comic book deaths I have ever seen.

'Her eyes begin to burn'... I think this could be the crown jewel for your site. :^P

Greg Rucka's REBIRTH WONDER WOMAN is an overrated mess and I hate Steve Trevor.
In all my years of reading WONDER WOMAN, the only time I've liked Steve Trevor is outside of the books and that's onscreen: Chris Pine's Steve Trevor was phenomenal.
The books have never elevated Steve Trevor beyond his being the plot device that takes Diana to Man's World.
They've tried, but have not succeeded.
The Marston Era gets too much emphasis in conversations about WW.
Steve does not need to date Diana and they work just as well as friends.
Zeus should be an enemy in place of Ares.
You don't need to limit Diana to Greek myths.
I want New 52 Malemazons back but with less murdery back story. I think there's a story there we can dig.
I don't mind Jason, I just don't want him as a twin brother just like I don't like Diana has a twin sister. I want both him and Nubia to be cousins at the closest and naturally born with Diana being the only one who's clay. Maybe Donna can keep the dark clay backstory as someone created by Titans to destroy Diana, but that plan fail early and she became a sister.
Wonder Woman Earth One makes me uncomfortable with how often Diana is drawn with sultry eyes and kissy lips.

I’ve always felt it would be more interesting if the Amazons once worshiped Ares(like the actual myths) but over the millennia had a falling out with him. For one it show growth on the Amazons part, and it would also give the Ares /Diana relationship more depth.
Ares should be Diana’s big bad, and Cheetah should be her personal nemesis. Circe though a major antagonist just doesn’t have the thematic depth as the other two.
