A new thread for everyone's favourite detective!She is the most optimistic character in a city shrouded in darkness.
Seriously, almost everyone loves this character. Ironically i found her characterisation to be strangest in GA #7 when she was with Damian though. However, thanks to Maps i have learnt what cartography is.
Allso what nationality is Maps meant to be, as Kyle design was described as "K-pop heartthrob" by Kershcl.

I know right!I love all the extra Kershcl sketches, original scripts,concept art etc. in the first gotham academy trade paperback.

For a long time, I thought the book "Li'l Gotham" was the best Gotham.
But then "Gotham Academy" came out.
And there was a new best Gotham.
And a new best "Batman." One that answered a question I had wondered for years. Namely...
What if Batman had been built by optimism, rather than tragedy?
And that questioned has been (and continues to be!) answered wholeheartedly.
By one Ms. Mia "Maps" Mizoguchi.

While i don't think Gotham Academy is long for this world, which is a shame, and i still don't understand why they didn't relaunch it as a rebirth title, book didn't have a chance
, i hope someone grabs Maps. Like Supersons or something.

Everything Maps says & does is my favorite.
But if I had to pick, I thought the poem she wrote was pretty great.

Loved the "Damian are you Batman" line and her fantasy about marrying the Grapling gun. Loved the wedding outfit she had on in her day dream. Awesome

Does Maps have a big part and a plotline this semester? I was really turned off by the first issue of Second Semester. Largely by the lack of Maps. Originally Posted by willtupper
