Default Leslie Jones in deadpool 2: could she make it work? And who could she be?

Leslie jones very much so wants to be in Deadpool 2. She also wants her super power to be screaming, but I'm sure she'd be flexible with having a different super powe! Now this is not the first and it will not be the last time a celebrating campaigns for a super hero role for a movie.

Do you think she would be a good fit for this movie?

And who could she be? An established chapter in the comics or someone new?

This is kind of a tough one.

While I'm not really against it, aren't they pretty set of Cable(and maybe Domino)? Seems like their priorities are set.

But look at the lesser characters who still had their moments like the blind woman and bartender

Sure. They were the Cable/Domino of the first film. It was written with them in mind.

I've only seen Leslie Jones in the Ghostbusters movie which I didn't really like. Her interviews leading up to the movie were always fun so I wouldn't be against seeing her riff off of Reynolds.

I say yes, she most certainly can. I love Leslie Jones. I think she made a mistake by going on Ghostbusters. That movie just had too many forces working against it. But I think she's funny, she's talented, and she has a sense of humor that would mesh perfectly with Ryan Reynolds. So I say yes, she deserves a shot on Deadpool. I think that would be the perfect medium for her to exercise the skills that make her funny.

I'm for it. The Ghostbusters trailer made me afraid that her character would be a bunch of stereotypes rolled into one, but she actually had significantly way more to do and much more agency than I had expected.

Seeing her and Ryan Reynolds in an insult faceoff (no pun intended) would be fantastic.

They would need to write her some great funny lines to say.

I really don't think Deadpool needs a sidekick.

Give her a 2 minute cameo role where Deadpool opens a portal to an alternate world and she's a female Deadpool.

Bob, Agent of HYDRA, disagrees (and then starts tearing up).

But anyway, she doesn't need to be a sidekick, just a supporting character. If she gets in as many good lines as Blind Al in the first movie, I'll be more than happy.

Cast her as Blind AL and have Deadpool make some jokes about recasting.
