The X-Men vs. the Avengers #4 Jul 1987
    Day Of Judgement!
The Avengers led by Captain Marvel barge into a Singapore office, demanding that they be given some sort of information on Magneto.
The government is tight-lipped, but the matter has become international, so the Avengers demand they tell them.
The leader is then called, and Magneto has been spotted. It is also revealed that the X-Men have turned themselves over.

Magneto is wandering the streets when someone recognizes him, causing something of a riot. He is found by three mutants, Crawler, Slider, and Leiko, who bring him to the Light.
The Light trusts him to be Magneto, and they all rejoice at his arrival, as they have been waiting for him. They are then attacked and Magneto helps them win, and then flees.

The X-Men, tired of waiting to be either prosocuted or not, escape the van and fly away with it to freedom.
The Avengers then meet with Mr. Ronalds, who is angry that the Avengers will not go after the escaped X-Men.

Magneto is modifying his helmet with Leiko, when Captain Marvel and the other Avengers finally confront the X-Men,
revealing that they were following them to attempt to find Magneto's location.

Magneto teleports all the X-Men and Captain America to him to consult with them. The result is that Magneto surrenders himself to the government.

Back at Xavier Mansion, Psylocke and Longshot watch the Magneto trial on television. The trial does not look to be going well on Magneto's side, and he is getting frustrated. It is revealed that Leiko and Slider were killed when Magneto was taken,

and only Crawler survived the riot attack. At the end of the issue, Magneto uses his helmet to set himself free from the trial, much to the people's anger.

Theory of the 2019 movie honoring 1968 Carol Danvers, 1971 Kree-Skrull War, 1982 Binary and 1998 Warbird!
    http://uk.ign.com/videos/2017/07/23/...lls-ign-access

All the information regarding the 2019 movie seem to point to me that Kevin Feige will honor
all the marvel comics featuring the comicbook character Carol Danvers, with said character being her 'own woman'.
To me, the first clue given, was that it will take place in the 1990's.
    To me, this is marvelous because the 1990's featured the comicbook character Carol Danvers being her 'own woman';

First half of the 90's, BINARY
Second half of the 90's, WARBIRD

    Aside from the above, I theorize the movie to possibly be structured in four acts;

    ACT ONE
MCU Carol Danvers and Captain Mar-Vell meet and become allies battling alien invaders.
Tributing 1968-1971 Carol Danvers, Head of Security of the missile base The Cape

    ACT TWO
MCU Carol and Mar-Vell captured by the Skrulls.
    Tributing 1971-1972 Kree-Skrull War
MCU Carol replaces the comicbook character Rick Jones in the MCU Kree-Skrull War
Quote Originally Posted by 616MarvelYear is LeapYear View Post

the MCU Captain Mar-Vell will cease to be and live on in the body of MCU Carol as the all-new Captain Mar-Vell.
However, in keeping with the comicbook character Carol Danvers' character trait of wanting to be her 'own woman',
the MCU Carol anglicizes the Kree name 'Captain Mar-Vell' into the Human name 'Captain Marvel'.
Also, the MCU Carol will use her abilities to protect the MCU Skrull Princess Anelle and her and Kree Captain Mar-Vell's son, Dorrek VIII.

    ACT THREE
The MCU Carol, Princess Anelle and Dorrek VIII undergo some form of suspended animation for 30 years! Courtesy of the MCU Collector!
Tributing 1982-1997 BINARY years, featuring the comicbook character Carol Danvers living out her dreams of exploring the stars

    ACT FOUR
The MCU Carol, Princess Anelle and Dorrek VIII are freed from their suspended animation and make their way to the MCU Earth.
This will lead to the MCU Carol Danvers becoming a member of an all-new iteration of the MCU Avengers.
    Tributing 1998-2003 WARBIRD years

Furthermore, on the MCU Earth, the MCU Princess Anelle and Dorrek VIII become the MCU Mrs. Altman and Theodore "Teddy" Altman the future Captain Marvel Junior!
The MCU Carol will become the MCU Teddy's godmother.
Also, the MCU Teddy grows up worshipping the MCU Carol and coins the phrase; "YAAAS QUEEN!"

I also find it possible that a BLACK and GOLD WARBIRD aircraft is to appear in the 2019 movie.

Hulk Smash Avengers #3 Jul 2012
    "Once An Avenger..."
Outside of Avengers Mansion an art student sells paintings of the Avengers and their foes. A passerby asks why he paints pictures of "freaks" and the two debate on who the real heroes are.
As their discussion continues, Captain Marvel streaks by in her energy form. Zipping into the Mansion, she flies into the middle of a training session that Hawkeye is undergoing.
She apologizes for the interruption, but Hawkeye tells her that he planned for her appearance because he wanted a distraction to hone his archery skills.

Monica then goes to the Avengers records room and searches the database for information about her namesake, the Kree Captain Mar-Vell.
She happens upon a file about the time Captain Mar-Vell battled the Hulk at Desert State University, which impresses her greatly and she wonders how she would fare against the Hulk.
While outside, the artist defends the inclusion of the Hulk in one of his paintings, recounting how the Hulk was one of the founding members of the Avengers.

In Central Park, Captain America assists SHIELD agents in stopping a group of Hydra agents. After the battle is over, he spots the Hulk leaping toward Avengers Mansion.
Suspecting trouble, Captain America speeds off in his motorcycle. When the Hulk lands on Avenger's property his landing shakes up the entire mansion and triggers the security systems.
He quickly destroys the mechanical coils. He is then confronted by Captain Marvel, however, the Hulk isn't interested in talking to her.
Suddenly, Hawkeye emerges from the Mansion and thinking the Hulk has come to attack them and fires a sonic arrow. In order to stop it, the Hulk claps his hands together.
That's when Captain America arrives on the scene, not wanting a fight he asks the Hulk to calm down. The Hulk composes himself and tells them that he has come to get help,
explaining that he was recently attacked by the Leader's Humanoids. Suddenly, Humanoids begin to grow out of the ground behind the Hulk and attack.
A battle soon breaks out and the Hulk and the three Avengers are joined by She-Hulk, the Wasp, Iron Man and Thor.

The battle quickly goes nowhere, and the Hulk explains that an electrical pulse of sufficient strength should be enough to destroy the Humanoids.
The Avengers then begin packing the Humanoids in as closely together as possible.

Then Captain Marvel turns into her energy form and blasts the creatures at full strength, incinerating them. With the battle over, the Hulk joins the Avengers in the mansion.
Reverting back to the form of Bruce Banner, and tells them how the Leader had managed to kidnap Rick Jones and he needs a Quinjet to get to his space station.
Learning that Rick is in trouble, Captain America gives the Hulk what he needs and he is quickly on his way.
Later, Captain Marvel tells Captain America about how she instantly attacked the Hulk without provocation.
Cap says that it was an easy mistake to make, recounting the time he was once tricked into fighting Iron Man by the Chameleon.

Continuity Notes: Takes place between Avengers #227- Avengers #228 and Incredible #280-Incredible Hulk #281.
Captain Marvel pulls up the following records in the Avenger's database:

The record about Kree Captain Mar-Vell's battle with the Hulk is a reference to the events of Captain Marvel #21.
The founding of the Avengers in Avengers #1.
When the Hulk quit the Avengers in Avengers #2.
The Hulk and Sub-Mariner teaming up to fight the Avengers in Avengers #4.

Exclamation Captain Marvel Rumored to Include Kree Hero Mar-Vell

    http://screenrant.com/captain-marvel-mar-vell-rumor/

"..While Marvel has yet to confirm any of these details, they do sound rather reasonable.
Mar-Vell could be a casualty of the Kree-Skrull war, making it easy to explain away his lack of presence in the years following.
Meanwhile, Marvel has routinely made slight updates to characters and their origins throughout the MCU’s existence,
so the studio once again leaning on the source material would not be a surprise.
All in all, Captain Marvel continues to sound fascinating and will hopefully deliver on these possibilities come 2019."

    To me, very respectful.

Marvel Comics Digest – Avengers Review: How A Team Was Formed

    https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/08...s-review-team/

"What this book doesn’t do is laser-focus on only the MCU characters, for which I’m incredibly grateful.
While characters like Hawkeye, Cap, and Widow appear, The Wasp, She-Hulk, and Monica Rambeau’s Captain Marvel also get their time to shine."
