The artwork with Carol is not from issue #4. It's from issue #27, which was a 100-page Monster. :-p

    Ms. Marvel #13 Jan 1978
    "Homecoming!"
Carol has come to visit her parents in Boston with her friend Michael Barnett after the events of last issue.

Recounting the end of her battle with Hecate, we learn that because of her exposure to the Scarlet Scarab,
her human and Kree selves have perfectly synched and Carol can now assume her Ms. Marvel guise whenever she pleases.

After visiting with her mother, and after her father (a construction worker) has a near accident at one of his sites, Carol and Michael have a date aboard the USS Constitution.
The festivities are spoiled when an alien robot named Sapper arrives with a robot warrior, prompting Carol to change into Ms. Marvel.
Although Sapper tries to absorb her energy, she manages to defeat Sapper and his minion when his robot minion is damaged, forcing them to flee.

Chris Claremont script. Jim Mooney & Joe Sinnott art.

Thing is, here Carol was now a big bad superhero and STILL couldn't get her father's respect and approval...

Looks like Carol/Captain Marvel might or might not be involved within the AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER Weekly Series; unless she catches up to wherever the Planet Earth is..........

Not to worry. Margie Stohl has a lot coming up for the comicbook character Carol Danvers in 2018..
    https://www.cbr.com/interview-captai...ality-stone/3/

The comicbook character Carrot is so cool looking to me and man look at the look that the comicbook character Carol Danvers is sporting!
No to me godawful yellow stripes sprouting left and right out of the Binary star and also no use of the generic colors red, blue and yellow!

I really liked that. I mean if marvel characters can exchange supervillains then why not certain members of a supporting cast?
Or at least have a member of a certain marvel superhero show up in the book of another marvel superhero.

Take for instance the comicbook character J. Jonah Jameson. In the 90's there was an event called "Operation Zero Tolerance" going on in the X-Books.
Both Peter Parker and Jameson showed up in Uncanny X-Men during OZT.
Jameson had a to me awesome scene with Bastion.
I really, really appreciated that kind of showing up of a Spider-Man supporting character in an X-Book.
I also really liked J. Jonah Jameson's appearances in the 70's Ms. Marvel books.

So likable that J. Jonah Jameson also made cameo appearances in Captain Mar-Vell's mag.
