Looks like it's the original Fawcett Captain "Shazam!" Marvel, deliberately coloured wrong to prevent any lawsuit.

Does Minn-Erva Guarantee a Kree Presence?

Odd that the name is written with a hyphen It will be nice though if the character's interest in Mar-Vell in the movie will be the same as in the comics.

    Captain Marvel Jr colors, though

I like these in-jokes references in rival books. Booster Gold just referenced Jarvis in this week`s Action Comics!

HOLY MOLEY! Marvel Comics displays some class in acknowledging the comicbook characters Captain Marvel Billy Batson and Captain Marvel Jr. Freddy Freeman combined, exisiting in the Marvel Multiverse!

    By TheWizardNamedShazam

Although MC shows some class acknowledging 2 out of 3 members from the Marvel Family in their MM..

..it will be marvelous to me when MC will show the same class in the future towards the comicbook character Mary Marvel!!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTJn0O9uUSo

In the by now 50 years of the comicbook character Carol Danvers' existence I have never found the character to have a 'funny voice'.
The comicbook characters Genis-Vell and Rick Jones on the other hand

You know, Al Milgrom's early, more Jim Starlin influenced work was actually quite good. IMHO, he started to go really bad when he took over West Coast Avengers.

    Peace

Yeah, I can see what you mean. Regarding Jim Starlin... I view what Marvel Editorial recently did to this to me Living Legend to be a dick move

    Talking Happy International Women's Day!!!

    Marvel Super-Heroes #13 Mar 1968
First appearance of Miss Danvers in "Where Stalks the Sentry!"
Continued from last issue... Captain Mar-Vell has adapted his Uni-Beam to be a hand held device before going back out into the world and try to learn what he can about the human race.
His departure from the hotel brings the attention of the desk clerk who begins to find his recent boarder very suspicious.

Testing out his uni-beam, Mar-Vell finds it satisfactory and attempts to return to his ship. Yon-Rogg attempts to use this as an opportunity to kill Mar-Vell, but the shot instead hits an aircraft.
Mar-Vell investigates the crash and finds the dead body of Dr. Walter Lawson. Learning that Lawson was a scientist to be stationed at the Cape,
Mar-Vell decides to usurp Lawson's identity for the purpose of his mission. After Una transports more breathing gas to Mar-Vell, he decides to go and infiltrate the Cape and learn what he can.

As "Lawson", Mar-Vell is introduced to General Bridges, and the security chief Miss Danvers.
He is shown the Kree Sentry which has been given to them after it was defeated by the Fantastic Four.
Yon-Rogg decides to use the Sentry for his own ends to eliminate Mar-Vell, and so has it reactivated.
When Mar-Vell learns of this, he dons his Kree armor and goes to try and stop the Sentry robot from destroying the Cape.

As he leaves, his suspicious landlord decides to snoop in his room.
This story is continued in Captain Marvel #1 May 1968.

Script by Roy Thomas, pencils by Gene Colan, inks by Paul Reinman.
