Exactly my thoughts. I think if Marvel had kept the series running, readers would have at least been impressed by their commitment to a relatively low-selling series and stuck it out a bit longer. As it is, Marvel have just driven it into the ground for the sake of a 1-issue sales spike. Plain daft.

    i didn't expect this
That kind of drop for the series that's the basis for Marvel's next event is very worrisome. If people aren't into Secret Empire it won't be able to support the rest of the line.

Marvel dominated in a bad month. Not sure if that is good news.
Current pull-file: Batman the Detective, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Marvel Dark Ages, Nightwing, Superman Son of Kal-El, Transformers, Transformers: King Grimlock, Warhammer 40,000 Sisters of Battle

Good News for DC, Bad News for Marvel.

And after all this, looks like no one on Marvel seems worried and they still are doing the same mistakes one after another or it is just that even with Animated Series, Movies and TV series, people are barely interested to begin to collect or be a fan of one determined book or characters.

    Times changes.

Its all about those dollars. Always have been. Instead of harping about "overshipping!!!" look at the dollar amount

    36.7% Marvel
    29.47 DC

Can someone please explain to me how Marvel dominates the dollar marketshare.. yet its always doomsday on the marvel forums? I don't get it.

Well, seeing Top 10 Sales, there is a majority of DC titles than Marvel, this canīt be bad for them.

Just keep it simple. Look at $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ That isn't manipulated by over shipping or returns. Its dollars

Marvel having the Star Wars franchise, means that in large part they don't have to sweat the month to month stuff anymore.

How bad would the charts look for DC if DC didn't publish Batman and Justice League seemingly biweekly?

Okay but Star Wars seriously helps with that.

    They definitely can do better.
